Clinton Area Chamber Announces New Committee Restructure

The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce (CACC) is excited to announce a strategic restructuring of its internal subcommittees to better serve its current and future membership. "As we head into our third year stronger than ever, this new structure reflects our commitment to growth, meaningful engagement, and sustainable success for all who care about, work, and continue to invest in the Clinton region," stated Lauren Nanof, President of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and Owner of The Fountain Confections on High Street.

Effective immediately, the Chamber will operate under three focused subcommittees:

Economic Development Committee, Marketing, Sponsorship & Events Committee and Strategic Development.

The Economic Development Committee will take a more hands on approach in supporting local businesses, both established and new. In its first year, the focus will be on assessing the parking situation in town, cataloging a vacant storefront inventory in order to communicate effectively with current property owners, and advocating for the needs of our members and the dozens of small businesses who are interested in laying down roots in town but can’t seem to find retail space to do so.

Our Marketing, Sponsorship and Events team continue to deliver on the vibrant and engaging calendar that our members and community have come to expect. From our monthly events to business spotlights, they will build and execute creative strategies that elevate the Chamber, support local businesses, and promote the town of Clinton. Trust us—you won’t want to miss what’s coming in 2025!

Our newest and most exciting committee is Strategic Development. Looking to the future, this committee will focus on the long-term sustainability and evolution of the Chamber. Priorities include launching our exciting new Internship Program, building pathways to connect the Clinton area’s incredibly diverse business owners, and laying the groundwork for new opportunities that will support and sustain the Chamber’s mission for years to come.

"This restructuring is about setting ourselves—and our members—up for success. By focusing our energy and talent in these three key areas, we’re creating a strong foundation to be impactful," noted Maegen McCaffrey, CACC Executive Committee Member
