WHAT WE DO: Working on Behalf of Business

As a member-driven organization, the Chamber works on behalf of businesses to create valuable programs and events that help to grow their networks, advocate for favorable, business-friendly public policy, work with our partners to assist with economic development efforts that create more opportunities and jobs, and support individual members on a variety of issues.
The Chamber is a center for business, industry, and commerce and is leading the region through creative and unique partnerships. Our commitment is to advocate for favorable policies and legislation on important issues affecting the region’s businesses.
The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is your link to the people, programs, and resources you need to grow your business. Member businesses benefit from the Chamber’s pro-business advocacy, professional development programs, workforce development initiatives, roundtable forums for industry sectors, economic development efforts, and high-visibility events throughout the year.
At the Chamber, our goal is simple — we want to help you succeed.
Generating New Business Leads
Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce membership has its advantages in ways both tangible and intangible. It is not always the easiest task to find new leads, or meet the right people to further your business; the Chamber can help with a wide variety of networking and lead generation opportunities.
Supporting Workforce Training
The Chamber’s Workforce and Education Partnership leverages the region’s colleges and universities to retain talent locally and to incubate new companies. Strategic partnerships with local colleges and universities benefit our membership, enhance our business recruitment efforts, and provide vital career development opportunities for our college students. Students can find a range of activities to start their career off on the right foot including a summer seminar series, engagement with experts from the region’s higher education faculty, tailored internship programs, and cultural activities, and networking opportunities.
Economic Development
The Chamber is the lead organization in the city’s strategic effort to recruit new businesses to the area, retain and develop a talented workforce and foster entrepreneurial innovation in Clinton its surrounding towns.
