Halloween Walk 2025
General Information:
LOCATION FOR STREET CLOSURE:
Union Street to Water Street from 5pm-8pm
Street Closure begins at 4pm and will last until approximately 8:30pm. Please remove your vehicle from the area prior to this or you will be trapped in and not able to leave during event hours.
RULES FOR ATTENDEES:

NO BIKES, E-BIKES, SCOOTERS, E-SCOOTERS OR ANYTHING WITH WHEELS.

RESPECT BUSINESSES. THEY SPEND TIME PLANNING, HOURS PREPPING, AND MONEY PREPPING FOR THIS EVENT. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND ONLY VISIT EACH BUSINESS ONCE SO WE HAVE ENOUGH CANDY FOR EVERYONE

FOR BUSINESSES:​​
Merchants/Business Owners who are located inside the the event location: please set up tables or stations outside of your store front. We do NOT recommend allowing public access into your store front during the night due to the mass amounts of people (6,000 attendees in 2024).
If your business is located outside of the event location, we encourage participation from all. Please feel free to bring tables to set up along the street closure area. Let's fill up those spaces in front of empty storefronts! Please email to confirm attendance. downtown@clintonma.gov

The Clinton Area Chamber and Town of Clinton will be distributing candy only to those who email to confirm participation, downtown@clintonma.gov You will not receive candy distribution if you do not email to confirm. Please do so ASAP.

FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS:
This is a great night to capitalize on take-out specials! Send us your specials for the night and we will advertise on social media, as well as print take-out special menus to be distributed at the event. Please send information by October 22nd.
SPONSORS NEEDED!
Each year the event grows in attendance and business owners carry the cost to support this event. Businesses on High Street who participate in the Halloween Walk spend $600 each on average to purchase candy to pass out. Last year an estimated 5,000 people in a 2-hour time frame attended the event. As you can imagine, this is a lot of candy that is needed!
To help support this event and offset related costs that these business owners incur we are asking for your support. This call to action was immensely successful last year- we fundraised $6,000 in RECORD TIME to buy candy through The Fountain Confections’s wholesale candy supplier at a discounted rate.
We are asking for your help supporting or sponsoring this beloved, decade long, community event.
